We will visit the town of Calafate and the Los Glaciares National Park located 80 km. apart. The park is the southern hemisphere’s largest expanse of ice outside of Antarctica. It was declared a “World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in 1981 for its imposing natural beauty. The “Perito Moreno Glacier”is constantly changing its shape and position. The rupture of its front walls is considered one of the world’s most impressive natural spectacles.
