Fishing Lake Strobel

Lake Strobel is an impressive destination located in the Argentine side of Patagonia. The lake covers an extension of 65 km², and is located 350 km. from the town of Calafate. It was populated with rainbow trouts (Arco Iris/Oncorhynchus mykiss) many decades ago and it continues harvesting with species that can weigh up to 12kg each.

The natural surroundings of Lake Strobel is spectacular. From its shores, one can observe the majestic Patagonian landscape, including mountains, forests and the native flora and fauna.
